1. Wet or lightly steam your finished motif.
2. Lay it on the board and ease it into shape, lining the edges up with the sides of the board.
3. Hold the corners in place with the pegs or with rust-proof pins.
4. Leave it to dry completely before taking it off.

Blocking every square to the same size makes joining a blanket or cardigan much easier.
