Heart Patch Motif Backpack

Turn 14 square heart motifs into a roomy everyday backpack. The 6-inch motifs are worked in a self-striping yarn, so you get colorful hearts without constant yarn changes. The straps, back hanging loop and drawstring flap are worked in a contrasting color, and a sewn-in fabric lining gives the bag extra structure. The finished backpack measures about 14 inches tall by 12 inches wide.
